Leila

Born in Missouri and raised in Wisconsin, our resort manager Leila spent her younger years in small farming towns and enjoyed helping families and friends take care of their animals. Leila moved to Florida with her sister in the fall of 2014 and has been employed at Birch Island since the spring of 2019 shortly after opening. In her free time she enjoys reading and gardening, as well as going to concerts and spending time outside. She has two cats at home; a calico named Nelly and a black cat named Lilith. Leila enjoys working at Birch Island because it is rewarding knowing that she is helping the community leave their pets in great care and allowing them to enjoy their time away with little to no worry.
